1. The cyberspace area of twitter. This naturally extends beyond twitter.com to anywhere you can twitter, which includes cell phones. Example: "Wow, I think Ashton Kutcher is one of the most popular people in the whole twitterverse!"
I have been slow to incorporate Twitter into my web universe. Who has the time to deal with one more thing? But I stuck with it and am beginning to understand what all the buzz is about. One person online said "If Facebook is considered addictive, then Twitter is like crack." OK, that is a little harsh, but totally true.
On an even more exciting note, I have discovered the way to link my Twitterverse to other social networking media. For example, I post a blog entry on my website. It is automatically sent out as an e-newsletter to people who have subscribed to that list. Then it is automatically send to twitter. So, one entry goes to three separate audiences, with barely any effort. Pretty efficient, huh. I'm in the process of integrating 2 more social networking websites. Bwah, ha, ha!!!
Not many of us fully realize our internet potential yet. In order to be successful in this economic climate, we must open to new ideas and get the most mileage out of an internet presence.
