Let’s customize a WordPress theme.

    1. Purchase a domain name
    2. Buy hosting for your domain. We recommend SiteGround and  WP-Engine, if you are serious about speed and SEO.
    3. Connect your domain name and hosting. Ask your hosting company for the Name Servers or DNS for your site. Insert the given Name Servers info into your domain name registrar account. Most domain registrars or hosting companies will help you with this. Here is a link to WP-Engine to read more on this step.
    4. Install WordPress and Genesis Framework. All hosting companies have a slightly different procedure when installing WordPress. Many hosting companies offer easy ways to install WordPress by pushing a button and answering a few questions in 5 minutes or less. Check with your host or give us a call and we can handle it for you. Great link for information: WordPress Codex. Finally you need to upload the Genesis Framework to the themes area of your website and activate it. Go to StudioPress.com or read the PDF below for answers about Genesis.
